God was with us.

So today was a scary day but I am thankful that the Lord was with us.


So I was sitting down watching tv and my mom had called and the second I heard her voice, I knew something was wrong. She was crying and said the words "Maddie, I've been in a wreck" my heart sank. The first thing I said to her was "Are you okay?" She said yes and told me that my dad was there with her and that her car had been damaged from the impact all along the passenger side. She said she will tell me more when she got home so we ended the conversation. After getting off the phone I kind of sat there in shock not knowing what to do next. So I prayed that God would be with her and anyone else that was a part of it and that he would comfort her in this difficult time. After my mom and dad got home, that's when we found out about the details and that the other person involved in the accident was also okay. Now that it's over I think about the times that I had prayed and asked God to watch over everyone, and he did. Not exactly in the way I wish would have happened but, it could have been a lot worse and I am so very thankful for everything that he has done and I am proud to call him my Lord. ♥
