Hello everyone! With school beginning pretty soon, I have told myself that this year is going to be a great one. In order to help with my motivation to be organized and well, motivated to be the best I can this year, I had decided to purchase a desk. I also have recently been motivated to decorate and actually try out all of the crafts that I have been pinning up on my Pinterest boards. Today, I will be sharing with you all, one of the crafts that I have recently tried out. Nobody was hurt during the process of making it and it doesn't look too bad so if I do say so myself, I think it turned out pretty decent. I hope you enjoy trying it out (if you decide to do so), and I hope it works well for you. If you decide to try it out and want to share, I would love it if you sent me a picture of how it turned out! That's enough of me talking so here it is, a DIY tassel garland. ♥
(Might I add that this little project is very inexpensive, I spent about $4 but, if you already have the materials needed then it's even better.)
DIY Tassel Garland
Directions:
1. You will need tissue paper (any amount), yarn or twine (I used about 4ft), a hot glue gun, and scissors.
2. Take a sheet and fold it down lengthwise.
3. Fold it to the right widthwise.
4. Fold it to the right widthwise again.
5. Cut lines (1/2 inch apart) from the bottom up leaving about an inch at the top.
6. Unfold and cut all the way down the middle.
7. Unfold again and cut into 4 sections.
8. Open each section.
9. Roll down the middle.
10. Twist and bend in half.
11. Glue on string.
Helpful hint: I used some flat white thumbtacks to pin it up on my wall and it's working pretty well.
I hope you enjoyed this! If you want to see more DIY's then be sure to leave a comment letting me know! Thanks! :)
Ahhhh this is so cute and seems pretty simple to make! Might give it a try soon! Thanks for sharing
