We have four more days of 2016. Wow. This year has been a great one for me personally and for my blog. I got to experience many new things and my blog has seen many changes and improvements throughout the year. Below is a month-by-month recap of my 2016. Some months are missing because 1) I didn't do much of anything or 2) I don't remember.

January:
In January, I went to Georgia. Not only that but I flew (for the first time) to Georgia. It was so fun going on that trip and I am so happy that I got to experience all of the new things that I did. I wrote a post over it so you can read it here.

March:
Spring break happened. It wasn't crazy or anything but it happened. I did get to see me friends though.

April:
I had my birthday!

May:
I love this month because this was when we adopted Cosmo (my cat) ! We also did a little bit of traveling and I finished the school year!

June:
In June, I hit my one year blogiversary! I still can't believe that I've been doing this for over a year now. I also got my wisdom teeth taken out...not so fun. I also did some traveling and celebrated many birthdays.

July:
This month I did a lot of traveling with not only my family but my friends to! We traveled in-state and out-of-state. It was so much fun!

August:
This is when we had our family reunion. I look forward to them every year so it was a blast. Oh, I also cut my toe open and went to the ER. It's ok now though.

September:
I got accepted into my ambassador program!

October:
Did a little bit of traveling and ate a lot of Halloween candy.

November:
Celebrated my cousins first birthday and spent time with family.

December:
Christmas. Christmas. Christmas.

Happy official first day of Winter! Since it is the first day of Winter I thought what better time to do the Winterlicious tag! I actually got this idea from Guilianna over at Guilianna Marie so definitely make sure to check out her post linked here.

With all of that being said, here is the Winterlicious Tag...

Favorite Winter nail polish?
I would probably have to choose just a white color. Really any brand but I just really like the simple look of white nail polish. Especially during the Winter because it reminds me of snow.

Favorite Winter lip product?
I haven't been wearing a ton of lip products recently but my favorite at the moment would have to be the Ulta lipstick in the shade sheer pout. It is a nude/purple/red color that is a little on the darker side so it's perfect for the Winter months.

Most worn Winter clothing piece?
My olive green utility jacket. It isn't necessarily a Winter item but, where I live, it doesn't get too cold so the jacket works really well.

Most worn Winter accessory?
Blanket scarf from No Boundaries. It is a tribal print and goes great with my utility jacket. I actually have this and the jacket included in my fall clothing haul.

Favorite Winter scent/candle?
Anything cinnamon. I love it. It reminds me of the holidays.

Favorite Winter beverage?
Hot chocolate. Bonus if it's mint. 

All time favorite Christmas/holiday movie?
I honestly can't seem to decide on a favorite; really any Christmas movie. Elf, The Grinch Stole Christmas, Polar Express and Santa Clause are some that I can think of right now.

Favorite Christmas/holiday song?
Again, I can't pick a favorite. I enjoy pretty much all Christmas music so I can't discriminate.

Favorite holiday food/treat?
Christmas cookies. Peppermint Mocha from Starbucks.

What is your favorite Christmas decoration this year?
My recently purchased mini Christmas tree. It is not decorated yet but it's still really cute and festive.

What's at the top of your wishlist?

What are your plans for the holidays this year?
My plans include family and Christmas church services. I also will be trying to fit as many Christmas-related activities into my schedule as possible so that I don't miss out on anything and then have to wait until next year.

Hello all! It will be Christmas in 7 days! I repeat, 7 days!! How is that even possible? I honestly haven't been hit with that realization yet. Anyways...

Today I have put together 7 days of Christmas activities (kind of like an advent calendar). I know that it is more popular to do 12 or even all 25 but for those of you like myself, who haven't realized how close the holidays actually are, these 7 days will work fine. Oh Pinterest, how you help with so many things-especially with the holidays coming up. Today I wanted to share with you all some of my favorite outfit inspiration pins that I have found on, you guessed it, Pinterest.

I have created a board that is fully dedicated to holiday outfit inspiration. You can check it out below. Some of the outfits are a little more dressier and some are more casual but nevertheless, they are all outfit-worthy. If you need some ideas on some outfits for this time of the year, then this board should help you with all of your needs.

Everyone loves Christmas cards. They are always a nice surprise when seen in the mail. This year I thought that I could send some out myself and make a little project out of it.

So this is how it will work: Once you submit your responses to the questions below I will begin working on your card. I hope to get it out as soon as possible so a shipment and delivery date will not be available to you as I will send them out whenever I can. I know that I'm not the only one that knows what they want for Christmas during the year and then forgets what I had in mind when it comes to people actually asking me. Yes, I know you do it too.

I decided that this year I would write a post including some things on my Christmas wish list for not only me, but for your help too. I am hoping that it will possibly give y'all some ideas as to what to put on your wish list.

(Disclaimer: I know that I will not be receiving all of these things, these are just some ideas on my list. I also want to say that I will be very grateful for whatever I get and I am not trying to show off or do anything of that nature. Again, just some ideas.)

• Nike Roshe One Shoes

I have been eye-ing these for a while now and I am in need of some new tennis shoes so these are one thing that's definitely at the top of my list.

• The North Face Jacket

I know I am a little late with this craze but I really like the look of the black North Face jacket. It would also be great because I can wear it with anything.

• Sunglasses

I have some old ones that are scratched and bent so a new pair would be great-I just haven't found my favorite yet.

• Purse

My current one is tearing and small so I would really like a new one again-I just haven't found my favorite yet.

• Makeup

Who doesn't like getting makeup?

• Watch

I have also been wanting a rose gold watch (honestly, mainly for the look. I think they're really cute.).

• Jewelry

I have been getting into liking more jewelry such as rings, earrings, and necklaces. That would be great if I received anything like these.

• Perfume

When I was using Birchbox I found this scent I really like that I might add to my list. I believe it is called Sincerely by Harvey Prince.

• Gift Cards

Gift Cards are also on my list from places like Victoria's Secret, Francesca's, and other clothing/makeup/beauty stores. They are a great gift because then I can decide on what I want.

It's December! Aka almost Christmas! Yay! Because I know a lot of people that struggle with what to get for Christmas gifts, I have made a list of some ideas.  This list is directed more towards girls but if you want a guy version then make sure to leave a comment letting me know down below.

Also, unfortunately I am not doing all 25 days of blogmas but I will try to shoot for at least 2 a week and I might even do 12 days of blogmas. Just with everything going on right now I didn't think it would work out and I was afraid that I would worry about missing days. Maybe next year I will do all 25 days of blogmas, though.
