Happy Wednesday! This past weekend my family and I went to our church family camp and I snapped a few (ok, maybe more than a few) photos and thought that you all might want an inside look into what it was like. We left on Friday and got back on Sunday. It was pretty fun and a beautiful place (which you will see below.) ♥
The water was so clear and blue. It looked so inviting and we would have gotten in but it was a little cool for swimming. It was still something beautiful to look at though. (;
Here you can see how clear the water actually was.
I didn't get any pictures while the amphitheater was full but this is where we had our worship services.
The camp was really interesting because it was set in a valley surrounded by hills.
Even the cafeteria was pretty.
To get to the camp, we had to drive through this part of the river and, considering we arrived in the dark, it was pretty scary at first but it was only a few inches deep.
"Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad; let the sea resound, and all that is in it. Let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them; let all the trees of the forest sing for joy." Psalm 96:11-12
