Summer Fashion Finds

Welp, this post was supposed to go live a few months ago but here we are after I finally hit "publish". It is still summer though so I wouldn't say this post is too late. Anyway, back in April I decided to splurge a little bit and get a few new clothing pieces for the warmer months and since then I have picked up a few other items as well. So, today I am sharing a few of my favorite finds that I have purchased.

Dresses

I LOVE this dress. It is totally my style. It is really nice quality and I love the flowy sleeves and cinched waist. The color is also so pretty. I got this from Forever 21 and they also had it available in yellow.

Button-Front Fit & Flare Cami Dress - Olive

I also really like this dress from Forever 21. The material is pretty thick and I think it has so much character. The length is nice because it goes to your knees and the pockets are a big plus. 

    

Hair Accessories

Floral Ribbon Scrunchies - Mustard/Multi

Also from Forever 21, this hair scrunchie and scarf adds a lot to an outfit and pairs nicely with dark hair.

Floral Print Scrunchie Set - Navy/Cream

This scrunchie set (from Forever 21) was a steal. I love the summery patterns on them and the navy one is extra cute with the bunny ears.

Tops

Pinstriped Self-Tie Top - White/Blue

When I saw this on Forever 21's site, it immediately caught my attention. I'm all for bows and flowy material and this top has it both. It is cropped so I do wish that it was regular length but I still really like it.

Shirred Flounce-Hem Top - Tomato

I purchased this from Forever 21 because I thought that it was a cute simple top that could go with anything. I also didn't own anything that is this particular color so I figured that it would be a great addition to my closet.

Shorts

Cuffed Linen-Blend Shorts - Pink

I am always looking for some fun shorts for the summer months (meaning half the year here in Texas). I really like how these shorts (from Forever 21) are so simple but also comfortable with its linen-blend material. 

Distressed High-Rise Denim Shorts - Dark Denim

Before I got these from you guessed it, Forever 21, I did not own any high-waisted shorts. I love anything high-waisted so when I saw these on the website I had to add them to my cart. The distressed look is always a summer go-to.

Shoes

A New Day Ema High Block Heel Pumps - Blush

I love the look of block heels and when I saw that Target had these in blush I had to grab them. They are a very soft material and just the right height without being too tall at 3.75 inches. I love the simplicity and versatility of these as well as the subtle color choice. I am looking forward to when I can wear them more often.

Time and Tru Sneaker Wedge - Taupe

I have had my eye on Steve Madden shoes that look similar to these and I found these in the most unpredictable store: Walmart. I haven't worn them much yet but the times that I have, they seem to be very comfortable and well-made so, especially for the price, I am happy with my purchase.

Time and Tru Two Band Footbed Slide Sandal - Mustard

Lastly, I also found these sandals at Walmart. I chose the mustard color because it is a summery color and bright. So far, I also have found these to be comfortable and worth the money.
